About Us

Identity: Our identity at the Cedar Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church is entrenched exclusively in Jesus Christ as the cornerstone of our confidence.  “Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” —Revelation 14:12

Motto: Making Members Missionaries.

Mission: As missionaries for Jesus Christ, our responsibility is to make the hope of salvation a reality for every person God brings into our lives.

Commitment

  • We commit to let The Word of God answer our questions.
  • We commit to let God have His way with our life no matter the cost.
  • We commit to proactively live by faith.
  • We commit to let God use prophecy to save us, and to share prophecy with others in order to save them.

History

The Adventist movement can be traced back to the 19th century. Since then, Seventh-day Adventist congregations have risen around the world preaching of the soon coming of Christ. In addition to this central message, the Seventh-day Adventist church also has a rich history  in mission work, ministry through publications and work in health.
